JACKSON...end of story!
Anyone who knows Aaron Chase knows that his dog Jackson is with him where ever he goes. They also know the worst thing you can do is throw an object for Jackson to fetch because he will retrieve the object then bark at you until you throw it again, which will continue all day until he passes out or you ignore him. I say object because since i have know Aaron, i have seen Jackson pull 4 ft logs out of the woods, small tires, sticks, balls, pretty much anything he can get his mouth around for someone to throw. Yesterday i was shooting with Aaron at one of our local spots and of course Jackson was in normal form running after a tennis ball all day. Aaron threw the ball down a slalom course he built and i watched Jackson rail the berm faster than i have seen anyone on a mountain bike hit it. I looked at Aaron with my jaw dropped and asked him if he saw how fast Jackson hit the berm and Aaron was already laughing. As i was standing there laughing i thought i had to get a shot of this, so Aaron walked down to the berm to rally Jackson and our friend Ray tossed the ball down the course. Within seconds Jackson was already in route ripping down the course. This is definitely one of my top ten favorite personal shots i have ever taken...

25 DAYS IN HAWAII: 2/3 OVER
After leaving our Kona house, we headed to Makaha where Original snagged a house with the ocean literally in our backyard. After a week of killer skating and a crazy house party we headed to our next house on the North Shore. More info on the travels will come tomorrow...i need sleep...but for now, enjoy the lifestyle shots from the Makaha House.

25 DAYS IN HAWAII: DAY 5/6
5 days into the trip and i can honestly say that this has been a trip of a lifetime and i still have 20 days of shooting left. After waking up at 2 am after only sleeping for 3 hours to drive 2 hours to get to the top of a volcano to catch the sunrise, was well worth it to say the least. It was a sunrise i will never forget!

25 DAYS IN HAWAII: DAY 2/3
Day 2 started out with an early flight that involved us waking up at 3 am to catch a flight from Waikiki to Kona. We landed at Waikiki at 5:45 and had to wait until 7 am for the car rental company to open, then we headed to the Kona house to pick up our boards and equipment. We then headed out to our first shoot location and killed it. (as soon as the trip is over and the new Hawaii series is posted the still images will be posted as well) Day 3 started with a late morning wake-up with a killer afternoon session that lasted until well after sundown which made for breath taking sight because the stars were super bright and filled the sky completely. 25 Days in Hawaii: DAY 1
After a long wait in Newark airport and an 11 hour flight I finally arrived in Hawaii to shoot for Original Skateboards for 25 days on various islands. We arrived in Honolulu and met up with a local friend of ours to crash at his pad in Waikiki, until we head to the Big Island on Feb 8th. Sunday morning i woke up and accompanied Derek (our local friend) to the North Shore for an early morning surf session at Pipeline. It was super rad being able to stand on the shore and shoot after seeing it in so many surf videos, and to top it off, i was able to catch a few shots of Kelly Slater as well.
